ROYAL CABINETS Limited Warranty

ROYAL CABINETS warrants its Covered Products to the original residential purchaser to be free from unnatural or avoidable defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for one year from the original date of purchase or close of escrow date.

What Warranty covers

This warranty is limited to defective products which were used under normal residential use. During the warranty period Royal Cabinets will repair or replace at our discretion defective Covered Products for the original homeowner free of charge. The Covered Products include:

Cabinet Boxes, Doors, Drawer Fronts, Drawer Boxes, Shelves, End-Panels, Finished Tops and Accessories that are manufactured and sold by Royal Cabinets. Any accessories or other products sold with and/or as a part of any Covered Product that were not manufactured and sold by Royal Cabinets are expressly excluded from the definition of "Covered Products" and NOT covered by this limited warranty.

Repair and replacement of cabinet finishes, will be at our discretion of cabinet finishes which do not meet our standards.

Replacement of drawer guides and door hinges (Lifetime Limited Warranty) which are defective in materials and/or workmanship Royal Cabinets will provide to the original homeowner, without charge, a new guide or hinge to replace the defective ones, subject to manufacture warranty provisions. This warranty is a warranty of replacement parts only.

What the Warranty does NOT cover

Deterioration due to normal wear and tear.

Misuse, abuse, improper storage, abnormal use, exposure to extreme temperature or moisture levels, neglect, drawer guides or door hinges exposed to excessive loads, or improper installation (if installation is performed by a third party).

Discoloration such as lightening and/or darkening of Covered Products due to exposure of natural and/or artificial light. Age, lighting and exposure to the elements all have expected and natural effects on the Covered Products and are not considered manufacture’s defects that are covered by this warranty.

Characteristics of real wood products, that may be perceived as defects, such as: Naturally occurring variations and difference in grain, color, texture, light refraction, mineral streaks, pitch pockets, knots, color differences from solid lumber to veneer or any inherent characteristic to real wood..

Textured thermofoil, melamine or acrylic products that discolor, de-laminate, or bubble adjacent to appliances or fixtures such as ovens, lights, ranges, cook-tops, or any device that can generate high temperatures without a properly installed heat shield adjacent to the heat source.

Damaged products from; acts of God, fire, flood, or any incidental, consequential or other damages of any kind.

Royal Cabinets reserves the right to change design, specifications, and materials as conditions require and as improvements are developed. Royal Cabinets has no obligation to incorporate such changes into products already purchased.

This warranty excludes any claim for incidental and/or consequential damages based on breach of warranty or any other claim. Royal Cabinets disclaims any other express warranty. Further, Royal Cabinets disclaims any implied warranties,including but not limited to the implied warranty of a particular purpose, after the one year Warranty Period of the express warranty expires. Some States do not allow the exclusion of limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

How to request Warranty Service

The original consumer purchaser must contact their Builder’s Customer Service representative or Royal Cabinet’s Customer Care department listed below:

Requests for Warranty must be received in writing by a Royal Cabinets or Builder representative before the warranty period expires. The request should include: (1) the home address of the installed product (2) a description of the product (3) the date of purchase of the product or home (4) a request the product be replaced or repaired.
